Rhonda Tawil (nee Hafif) had a strong desire and talent for art from a very early age, influenced by the artistic proficiency of her mother and grandfather. She got her B.A. in Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and went on to study at several other art schools and colleges. Rhonda won several awards in art shows. She worked in graphic and accessory design. Her artistic talent also led to designing and selling elaborate cakes.
Rhonda's paintings reflect her interest in travel, sports, nature, and family. They show the influences of many famous artists who share her love of bright colors. Rhonda tries to emulate their use of vibrant colors to create a sense of harmony, tranquility, love and playfulness in her own unique way. Some of her works give a feeling of peace and comfort, while others excite and give the viewer a thrill. Rhonda likes to be surrounded by beautiful, happy things, which is clearly seen in her paintings.
